早就该下手干预、救北电。当年政府（纳税人的钱）的科研经费投入那么多，就这么不了了之怎么行。

就不该救汽车工业。

也许早年的救助本身就是极其愚蠢的决定。市场经济就让市场决定一切，适者生存。

支持科研是加政府的一贯政策，现在仍然有科研资助。这样的政策许多西方国家都有。

还是尊重自然规律吧，那叫“适者生存”。

那又有多少科研混混成天顶着科研的名义在混饭吃？这就是资助的弊端，即使研究不出来什么，你一不能枪毕，二不能把经费要回去，三你不能把什么专家，学者的美称给我收了。
一句话，要真牛逼能研究出google一样的成果来，还用资助吗？

基础科学的意义大多数不是当时的人可以理解的, 牛顿发现万有引力的时候 他怎么知道以后用在哪里了?
所以科研的钱一定要花的, 就算打水漂也还是有点水花的,说不定这水花又启发了什么伟大发现.

Canadian poticians only knows raising tax, speading money on public sector and auto industry.

Just look at how many people and friends would rather jump from relative high pay high tech job to much lower position in government to get into safe heaven, then you know this country is in big trouble now.
