这其实是个好的教育孩子的机会。不能否认这种取熊胆的做法的确令人发指，但这边常见的小牛肉veal其实也很残酷：小牛从出生两周后就被关在一个木头箱子里，只露出半个头，不能见阳光，只喝人工喂食的牛奶和粮食，为了不让肉老化。By definition，veal的来源都是还没有断奶的小牛。

在我理解，闲先生陈述的事件涉及到一桩隐形的种族歧视。作为家长完全有必要向学校ＭＡＫＥ　Ａ　ＣＯＭＰＬＡＩＮＴ。如果学校不接受，反映到ＳＣＨＯＯＬ　ＢＯＡＲＤ。而且不能善罢甘休。如果你能拟一个ＣＯＭＰＬＡＩＮＴＬＥＴＴＥＲ，可以征求大家签名，到时候算我一个。

我注意到一种现象：在我们华裔受到种族偏见或歧视的伤害时，有许多人不是奋起反抗，而是嫁怒于自己民族。这恰恰是ＤＩＳＣＲＩＭＩＮＡＴＩＯＮ的目的，ＤＩＳＣＲＩＭＩＮＡＴＩＯＮ就是为了消蚀一个民族的自尊和自信，让你心甘情愿的当二等公民。打一个不是非常恰当的比喻：王小二被邻居欺负，回到家冲父母大发雷霆，説你们为什麽没有本事，为什麽无权无势；而不是自己想办法卧薪尝胆，奋发图强。请醒醒吧，我的同胞们。向黑人学学，勇于面对歧视这个事实，争取权利和尊严是硬道理。
