Actually if you go to the grocery stores (Lablaws, Metro whatever), their frozen ducks always missed a leg or two.

If this happens to TNT, it means they are using frozen ducks, as simple as that.

Utility级别的鸭子，要不然少条腿，要不然，少个翅膀。你可以自己去柜台那里看看。不只是T&T, 所有店里面的Utility级别的鸭子都是这样。

刚才从大统华回来，闲来无事看了看收据，发现有错误，明明哈根达斯的ICE CREAM 3/$10,但是收据上面确是$6.49一个，虽然前面写的SALE，但是价钱没变。我买了3个呀，

我也买了3个ice cream, 第1个第2个标价都是$6.49，但第3个标价是-$2.98。所以总价是$10/3个，没错。
至于LZ提到的别的东西，我没买不能确定。你看看是不是跟这个ice cream情况类似。

This means this kind of pricing method forces you to buy 3 to get the sale price. A lot of stores do that.
