学first aid跟cpr要交钱吗?

贴这个是因为我这星期刚参加了一期复习课,更新证明卡。给我们培训是个很有经验的急救员,她说从多伦多长大自12岁决定进入医疗领域这样的培训从来就没免费过!渥太华市政真是花了血本了,告诉你们认识不认识的人们来接受一下培训,只有好处!
建议大家去享用这免费午餐!对自己的健康和生活态度都会有震撼,我个人感受。

今天上班的时候同事癫痫发作了,立刻过去把他护住,同时把周围的东西都给挪走了,觉得自己应该学学急救时候的处理。
哪里有周末可以上的课啊,要交钱吗?

Why don't you check with your employer? I am sure they always looking for employees to be a certified first aider (it is required by law that there is at least one certified first aider available at work at anytime). Your employer will pay for your time and the course.

CCC, don't worry about getting into trouble by helping people. A certified first aider (by St. John, cause I am) you are insured by St. John as long as your certificate is valid. So far no certified first aider has been successfully sued by anyone under St. John.

In fact in some states in the US, if you don't offer help to people who indeed needs help you might go to jail because of their Good Samaritan law.

There are about 4 people at my company are first aider(not sure about the certified part though lol).
I personally wouldn't put too much faith on my employer paying for the course.

这次培训时我们就被提醒,如果认为对自身不安全或者认为自己不适合去实施急救,在安省,不会被起诉,但是在魁北克,第一目击者的路人必须施救,包括打911!这点是安省和魁省的差别。 而结果如何法律都是保护施救者的,这点是加拿大和美国的差别。:)
