大部分驾校可能效果都差不多,看你在意什么?如果你不想听各国英文,可以试一试中文驾校,在每周的中文报纸上都有.如果你想快速利用周末学完,可以试一试RITE ON, 在WALKLEY 和BANK 交界附近,电话733-7777, 我的感觉是如果你没有摸过车,别指望驾校的教练保证你过G2,找个信誉好的中国教练最好,价格还公道

I learned driving last year from Ride On in Walkley. It was said I can get a cheaper insurance. But in fact, it is not. Right now most auto insurance companies have a very strick policy and high insurance coverage. If you are the new driver and just learned from driving school, there is no such thing that you can get a cheaper insurance.

In addition, I spend too much to pay the driving school after 10 hours packages. I had another more 15 hours practice for my 1st road test (failed last Dec), and then another 7 hours practice for my 2nd road test (passed in Jan). Totally, I have spend about $1,000 for my G1 road test.

比较起来在美国拿驾照真是又简单（考完笔试当天就考路面）又便宜（$20），不知道是不是因此在美国出的车祸就比在加拿大多呢？

I am confused: could fresh driver get 15% off ? or only old driver?

What is old driver? I got my driving license in CHina three yes ago, but just took knowledge test this Monday here.
