请教

[坐在墙上等红杏]

差不多三十来年没写过信和贺年卡之类的了，想邮几张贺卡回去，有两点不太清楚：是不是邮往中国的地址写在信封的正面？起始地写在背面？
然后，还用不用在目的地的地址上面用英语写上：To China ？据说这样能让加拿大的邮局看得更明白，也不知对不对，请哪位大仙指正一下。
