price for VW Jetta 2009

A car dealer told me that his company could get a VW Jetta SE 2009 from US, it come with sunroof, leather seats, 16,000Km, for 21800$ + Tax. I have not seen the car. I would like to know if any body could tell me if it is a good deal, or it is safe to buy the car from this dealer. Thanks.
