So disappointed with these restrictions posted recently. Openness and freedom is the spirit of BBS. Registration is not a big deal for old frequent user, but I believe this will keep away some new comers. I think I would never post my first post here if there was registration requirement at that time. People are lazy and comefromchina is not attractive enough yet for most people.

I never took the advantage of the forum’s ability to post anonymously, but I do think this a feature some people like. You probably will see many new registrations, people can still use their new names do what ever they like.

No intention to change your decision. Just my personal opinion. May comefromchina have a good future.

我也同意花心的意见，换ID捣乱的大有人在，各个BBS都一样，控制是控制不住的，一个人可以拥有多个ID，换着来，最后的结果就是把BBS搞得乱七八糟的就是一小撮分子。新人看着乱七八糟的，就不愿意来，再加上这个限制就更别提了。三思。

有个人已用"过客"后面加一点注册,多数人不会去注意那个小点的.这种做法一样可以起到冒名发帖的效果. 注册也是防君子不防小人的.

在的，我起初并不喜欢你那种为了区区龙凤宴就把铁算盘打得批啪响的精细，后来

建议站长再增加一些对于发贴中涉及人身攻击，色情以及一切言论中违反加拿大法律（比如煽动种族歧视）及论坛规则的ID进行处罚的细则。

I objected the decision of compulsory registration. Personally, I don't think the member registration system will stop the irresponsible postings. People who want to post offensive content will simply register for a new name, and use the new name for posting. Do we solve the problem here?
I think the most effective way to deal with this is by education; this can be done by reminding the users about the rules and regulation of this forum periodically. in fact, a simple clear written discussion forum rules should be placed on the top of every forum page, so that users can make there own judgement based on the rules.
At the same time, a responsive action (deleting the posting) against the irresposnible posting should be carrying out in a prompt manner. This will prevent other users being offened and it will also send a clear message to the irresponsible user that "this behaviour is not tolerant".

我还是觉得只让注册用户发言的规则并不是必要的。

我有个折衷的建议。在发起主题的时候可以选择是否允许非注册用户发言，并偏向于将缺省设为允许。
更进一步看看是否还能允许非注册用户发起主题。也许只是个馊主意，仅供参考。
