Need help: Any sugguestions on Minto "Westminister" vs Minto "Sutherland"?

We have reserved a lot. The front of the house faces east-south and the back faces north-west. We are trying to decide the model. Need sugguestions from the experts here. :blowzy: Many thanks in advance.

Our first choice is Minto Signature Classics "Westminster" model.

We like this model as the below:
1. The kitchen and breakfast area are huge.
2. The laundry in the main floor. (I don't like the laundry room in second floor)
3. The curve stair looks pretty.
4. The living room and dining room are together so that they are looks quite open and big.
5. The size of upstair rooms is good.

We do not like this model as below:
1. The stair is almost facing the front door entry. Some agent told us it is not good for "FengSui" or less priviacy. Is that true?
2. This model is very special. The front door is not in the middle of the front of the house. There is the big living room window between the Garage and the front door so that the the front door pave way will be longer between the drive way to the front door. I checked that the most single house models (99%) have the front door in the middle of the front of house which is right beside the garage. It is my big concern and would like to know if there are any problem with this type of the model. Does anyone know?

1. There is a computer loft upstair.
2. The laundry in the main floor. (I don't like the laundry room in second floor)
3. The upstair rooms's size are good.

We do not like this model as below:
1. Seperate the Living room and the dinnig room by stairs so that both rooms looks small.
2. All the rooms/space downstair in the house looks much smaller than the Westminster (At least I feel). The difference of prices between two models is only 4K.

Before we didn't like the laundry room in the second floor, but now, after moved to the new house, we found out that the laundry room in second the floor is soooooooo convenient and trouble-free. Particularly if you have small kids, and you need to access to the laundry room even midnight.

Before we didn't like the laundry room in the second floor, but now, after moved to the new house, we found out that the laundry room in second the floor is soooooooo convenient and trouble-free. Particularly if you have small kids, and you need to access to the laundry room even midnight.

Thanks for replying, Sahara snow. We found a lot of models, which we like, have the laundry room uperstair. The reason we don't like the laundry room in the second floor is afraid that the shaking caused by the washer and potientially water leak may damage the first floor ceiling/lamp. Do you think they could be problems?

family确实比另一个大， 早餐也不小 放正餐桌子也够， 不过有两点， 第一觉得living/dinning得浪费不少空间做hall way... 第二， 不习惯门和车库离那么远， 平时拿衣服和鞋有点儿不方便。

We have moved to this house for two years, and so far we don't got any problem. We usually let the washer /dryer running when we sleep, and it seems doesn't bother everybody. Maybe we are too tired, haha.
