Ingredients
  • 1 flank steak - about 2 pounds
  • 1 tbl fennel seeds
  • 2 tbl black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 oranges
  • 2 tbl olive oil
  • 4 sprigs rosemary
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • cayenne pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Put 1 tbl fennel seeds and 2 tbl black pepper into a bowl. Grind them well.
Puthalf of them into another container. Add some salt into the container,mix well.
Step 2
Strip 4 sprigs rosemary, Use the back of the knife to "chop" the rosemary. Put the rosemary into a bowl,
Addthe other half of the fennel seeds and black pepper mixture.Cut 1orange into half, and squeeze the orange juice into the bowl.
Add4 cloves garlic and 2 tbl olive oil, Stir well.
Step 3
Place 1 flank steak into a plate, trim off the excess fat. Dumptherosemary and garlic mixture, Use a spatula to spread them well.
Use a fork to poke them in. Put the mixture aside, flip the the steak. Do the same thing for the other side.
Thenput them into a plastic ziploc bag, marinade for 2 hours.
Step 4
After 2 hours, Put the steak into a plate. Use a fork to brush offthemarinate. Then add the fennel seeds and the pepper mixture onthesteak. Spread well.

Step 5
Then grill the steak for 5 minutes per side for medium rare. After done, transfer to a plate.
Take2 oranges, cut each into half. Then grill them until golden and brown,flat side down. Remove and rest for 10-15 minutes.

Step 6
To serve, cut the steak against grain, then put on a serving plate with the grilled oranges. Enjoy.
