大家不要误会啊,去年的税我们是报了地. 但是没要我们交钱. 今年改革了,博士后也要交税,除了魁北克的博士后除外. 我们明年3月底就永远离开加拿大了, 肯定还是要报的,不管交不交钱,都要抱的. 但是听朋友讲有中加协议这回事, 想想能省点也不是坏事,就过来问了,想不到引发如此大的讨论.

好像以前postdoc的工资当时是不扣税的,一年后自己报税时,如果移民的话就补交税.听你的意思,改革了发工资时就把税扣了.其实,这里大部分人都是根据年收入按不同rate政府先把税扣了.你要等到明年报税后政府才能根据你报税情况退给你的. 至于direct deposit打电话cra让他们加到你的profile里. 不过cra退税只deposit加拿大本地金融机构. 我现在还有一张支票是CRA退给以前我一个postdoc朋友的呢.如果想拿回钱,就明年二月底eFile报税,一两个礼拜就到帐. 不过是有个中加协议的,你又不移民应该是可以合理向加申请免税的.google"中加协议"会有很多有用信息的.

税务局有个官方网站,用你的SIN 进去,SET UP 你DIRECT DEPOSIT ACC, 多年前做过,记不住网址了,请村长告诉你吧,他在政府干,无所不知,人又勤快热心

其实,这里大部分人都是根据年收入按不同rate政府先把税扣了.你要等到明年报税后政府才能根据你报税情况退给你的.

这是对的,不过你如果确认你的收入不需要交税,也可以找财务填一张表向CRA声明,那样就不会预扣税了,不过EI和CPP是免不了的

两次申明"明年3月底我们就永远离开加拿大了"。说“永远离开”,还为时尚早。
 
其实3、4万收入税率已经很低了,只是跟没有比是感觉不爽。其实lz想要合理避税无可厚非的,不怪lz,要怪只怪为什么我们要选择留在加拿大承受如此沉重的税务.
 
CRA网站有ePass可以自己create帐号,登陆进去可以update任何个人信息.申请帐号后,cra会给你寄个security code to acitvate your account.
 
有工作许可、有雇用合同,就可以领OHIP,家属也可以享受OHIP,家属也可以领工作许可打工。
