收到几个悄悄话, 希望我能share 一下. 说来话长.我家有点漏水, 是窗户哪儿. 问题并不是很大, 但是拖了大半年,还没弄好.更可气的是, site office 耍无赖, 要close file without water test . 我们不同意,而且site office 那女的又凶又恶,我们实在忍无可忍,不得不投诉. 另外我们 告到了TARION. TARION 对他们还是有些压力.site office 现已答应做water test, if water test pass 然后再修里面. 劝大家找个好的 inspector, 找波兰老头, 虽然挑剔, 但对您有益. 另外 deal with site office 最好用email , 那女的可是撒谎不眨眼的.

跟我们家的情况一样啊。我们是在Barrhaven, 但Richcraft非常好,一打电话就来人。来了一批又一批人,光water test 就做了两边。最后来了两个技术大拿,终于找到了漏的原因(在bay window 上),修好了,活干得很漂亮。而且这都是在一年之后。我的同事买的是Richcraft在Riverside的新房,对他们的服务是实在太满意了(她甚至说,她的邻居不象话,很多不该builder管的也找Richcraft修了)。难道KanataLake不一样?
btw: There is only a few of inspectors at ottawa region that has the skill to do framewalk inspection.The Framewalk is your opportunity for you to see what is behind the walls, prior to their being covered with drywall, to review any pre-planned options you have ordered through our schedule meeting, and to ask the builder representative any questions you may have about the construction of your new home.
我反正下一栋房子不会买richcraft的了,虽然大部分质量不错,不过还是遭罪。而且有可能的话,我一定会要求加入framewalk这个选项。
Framewalk is given, you don't need to ask. As well as PDI (Pre-delivery inspection). Builder has to give you this opportunity, but it is you choice, whether you have time to go or not.
