fish-hawk said hydro-quebec set up a floating barrier this year to prevent anglers appoaching the dam, so does the shad. Do you guys knew if other places downstream can easily find shads?

report of shad fishing today

We went there today and it is better than I expected. We caught more than 10 shad today (from 3:30pm to 8:30pm) and landed 8 with the largest near 5LB and lots of 0.5lb size moon-eye fish. I will ask Ben4 upload photos tomorrow. It is a fishing experience you wouldn't forget for a month. Shad is every where and you will see them jumping around but catching then is tough now. The barireer made shad fishing more challenging now.
