How to choose a GPS?

Like to have a GPS, so which brand is recommended? I heard some brands like Garmin, Navigo, TomTom. so any suggestions?

Also what kind of specifications I should pay attention to when making decision?

If you just look for a GPS without those fancy features (like bluetooth, voice recognition), CT has Magellan 1440 on sale this week. Very easy to use. Just $99.99. Definitely worth the money. ( my opinion)
