You need to call your bank ask for swift code, bank address, your account number etc. If you want to transfer to your U.S. dollar account in Canada, you might need two more numbers (forgot the name).

免得加拿大政府惦记你的金额来路。买个房子，住的也不放心。银行对银行，就说是国内亲戚的赠与，就避税了。

Swift code is very important

besides you have to provide Bank name, branch code, account number, branch address, person's contact info because if there is issue on wiring, they don't have any contact info. the bank will reject it back to China. For example: Bank of Nova Scotia is the name rather than scotiabank. Phone the help desk to get all the information. I just did one. $10 charge here in Canada. And it's only 2 days.
