笑言给出的Chateau Cartier Green Fees 是酒店网页上给出的，可以网上注册预定场地。球场俱乐部有没有网页？我查了查，Chateau Cartier 酒店付近有好几个高尔夫球场，一个叫Golf De Champlain：http://www.ottawagolf.com/champlain/
酒店北边还有一个Golf De Royal Ottawa.

Chateau Cartier本身就是一酒店。球场信息就在酒店网站上。
Champlain比charteau cartier差多了。Royal Ottawa是Private球场，不对公众开放。

Essentgolf, Thanks for your coordinating. Friday might not be the best date but that is the only day I would be able to play golf. I have a whole day meeting on Saturday and have to fly back to NL in the evening to catch up a club mixed tournament on Sunday, the 18th.

Could NOT find much course information on the web site of Chateau Cartier Hotel and Resort. It says only par 72 and USGA rating of 69 or so...

The course website seems doing a poor job in providing information. Only played there a few times and my general impression is it's not a difficult course but reasonably well maintained (my only two birdies this season happen to be in this course). Almost all holes in wooded area but fairways are not too narrow. Some (steep) slopes at back nine with elevated greens or tee-off areas. Not many water and bunks surrounding greens.

Hugh and Playman should know more about this course. Thanks!

Could not find the club website; the only information is from the hotel website.

It says it is par 72 but other website say it is a par 71. It seems to have a good deal and a well maintened course....

Essengolf: 9:00 am tee-off will be good for me. I need to send my daughter to her summer job that morning, so an earlier start could be a challenge for me.

plouis8888: I think we are talking about the same website. It is for both hotel and golfclub.

We could delay half an hour to accommadate Robin; is tee off at 9:30 AM good for you Robin? I am flexible as long as it is good for others.

Accept Playman's suggestion：will be glad to play with two groups of players... Not a 高手 at all but should be able to have some comments on your game after having played with you for 9 holes.

Do you know, a few years ago Essengolf beaten me by a few strokes... He is expecting to beat me again.. It seems I like a piece of meat on the chopping board, ha...

Golf should be a game to enjoy oneself in a relax enviroment; I treat my friends' good shots as my good shots; I cheer for my friends as well for myself in my heart. If you keep in mind to beat somebody, you are in a miserable track...it would not be enjoyable at all, even if you goal is met once a while. You mentioned that you are going to post on the main page for golf session. What does that mean? As you know, I am not going to offer a clinic before the tee time.


Thanks for your booking the tee times. You, Robin, Playman, me and other two, we have 6 players do we? Groups of threesome would be even better than foursome... More interaction and less wait time...

Golf is really some thintg different but it is nothing but a game.... I shot 90 with my colleagues yesterday (Friday) under 70 km/hour wind; it was enjoyable (friendship and beer); i shot 79 today in the 1st round of the Herb Feder club tournament today under 50km/hour wind... it was enjoyable too though there are still some missing putts and mis-hits... Will be playing the final round tomorrow under 70 km/hour wind and perhaps under rain. What is would be? Full of uncertainty...This is the amzing part of golf....

plouis8888, what you said is also my attitude towards golf. I fully enjoy golfing with any golfer as long as we respect each other. The reason I posted the schedule on the main page is that it looks like a general act here. Also we need two more players to fill the spots. Anyway, I feel that we all have good intentions here: play and enjoy golf.
