I sent following message to CFRA:
I got following mail from a friend. I feel very bad of your poor CFRA. Does that director has any idea about China? He is not qualified for his position. I strongly protest against the statition and will never listen it again.

Dear Mr.Maheu,
I just heard that in your program last night, Mr. John Brenner, indicated
China is a terrioist country, I am really, really ASTONISHED and SHOCKED
that in Canada, a democratic country, there are still some people who dare
speak without any sense of responsibility. Does he really know China ?
Does he have any faintest common sense ?
I am a Chinese immgrant and I even feel shamed to argue with Mr. John. I
believe that he is not qualified for his job in a sense that at least he
dares to cheat his listeners. This brings serious crediability to your
news program considering he is titled as "Director of CHUM Ottawa News".
China is peace-loving country and if China were a terrioist country, the
world could not be what it is today. Any one with some COMMON SENSE can
get this conclsion easily, just considering the population and strength of
China, right ?
I feel terribly sorry that CFRA, one of my favouriate radios, has such a
person as its director.
He owes his apology to his audience, he owes his unqualification to CFRA
and he definitely hurt the feelings of 1.3 billion people in China and out
of China.

I was terrible shocked hearing the comment of CFRA Program Director (John) about the war to Iraq is to warn terrorist region, like Iran, China, and North Korea in his program last night.
I understand the freedom of speech, but I do believe that as a media, the radio station should have a much better sense of what is talking about in public. I don't recall China having anything to do with terrorist and no one has ever proved that China has any relationship with those terrorists. In fact, China is doing its best to fight against terrorism. What I do know is that China is considered as a respected member in the UN and is as much against the war as Canada does.
What John said had not only hurt me and the rest of the Chinese community feelings, but also made a shame on CFRA580 and Ottawa city. His comment made me upset and thinking if he is a racist. I strongly request he withdraw his comment and apologize to the Chinese community in public and resign from his current position.

Look, I just heard this shocking news from my friend, I like your program that why I send this email. This time CFRA really disppointed me, if CFRA can't fix up it, I will tell everybody that I know, CFRA is a racism radio station and this terrible comment from John.
