小二，出身可以用这种方式改变吗？汉语拼音的“fubai”（腐败）、“tanwu”（贪污）、“guanxi”（关系）等等已经被一些西方论著作为引用词照搬，那些的影响要比这个大得多。

再说，小二，昨晚他是道歉了，也是不太情愿地道歉，这能听得出来。但无论如何，道歉就是一个举动，难道要他把自己的观点全部推翻并且明明白白地打自己的脸吗？当然如果他第二次再这样，事情的严重性就要比这一次高得多。如果我们过于较真，只会由于文化的不同而使另一方对我们产生误解，对我们产生真正的不利。

另外，我不爱他，我爱中国男人！

我听了他的道歉, 认为至少听上去还是非常中肯的. 至于他心理究竟怎么想, 我们无权也没有可能追究. 他不是政客,只是一个清谈节目主持而已. 代表不了任何政党, 更不能代表政府, 连他们电台都代表不了. 虽说错了话, 但真诚倒了欠, 我看可以按照口误来处理.

Why do quite a few Chinese always think s/he is inferior ? and so need to obtain 同情 from 主流社会?
NO, YOU ARE THE HERO AND YOU ARE THE WORLD !
My personal experience tells me that if you are right (with logical reasons of course), fight back against any wrong blames and speak out your mind (do not worry about your language skills)
I know this is a little bit off-topic, but I really feel funny about the words,.1.主流社会 2.同情 3.赞赏

My personal experience tells me that if you are right (with logical reasons of course), fight back against any wrong blames and speak out your mind (do not worry about your language skills)

有趣的话题。我也来说两句。

说说我的观点吧。首先我认为主流社会是有必要存在的，不管是文化大拼盘还是大熔炉，都得有一个主导的文化和价值观，这样才能增强文化大拼盘的紧凑性，才能制定社会统一的行动标准。

楼上那位唯我独尊型的，他说到：“NO, YOU ARE THE HERO AND YOU ARE THE WORLD !”，这只是一种心理上的自我欺骗。其实，在决定来这里的时候，就已经意味着我们必须尊重主流社会的存在，和尽量融入主流社会。

从传统上说，在加拿大，主流社会是以英法裔为主的上流社会，而我们作为中国人，如果刻板地如此认为，只会永远觉得自己是边缘族裔，进入不了社会的核心。所以我们不妨用主流社会的另一个界定，那就是在文化价值观和思想上的同步。

所以我在此猜测，文碗那三个引起小傻质疑的词汇产生于文碗对主流社会的界定是属于传统型的那一种。我是这么理解的：文碗所说的“同情”、“赞赏”应该是针对大陆华人族裔在整个大拼盘中属于较为年轻的一支，尚处于树立形象的阶段而言的。

我始终觉得在这么一个文化大拼盘的社会里，族裔的整体形象非常重要，所谓引起别人的“赞赏”是很有必要的。特别对于来自大陆的华人族裔，其他族裔对我们正处在拭目以待的阶段，而一个印象一旦形成是不容易改变的。

说实话，我不太喜欢中国人的唯我独尊的思想，能不能被别人接受完全取决于行动和表现。任何思想上的唯我独尊其实是内心深处信心不足的表现。

好，先说这么多。

主流社会 is a frame in which common moral standards, ideas and practices are accepted. Under this frame, stuff like getting rich, helping others, kindness, sympathy, denouncing violence can all be called 主流社会's characteristics.
If you think 主流社会 only belongs to a specific race, which has the largest population in a specific area, I'd say it is too narrow and shallow, and you will never be close to 主流社会 as you have no choice to change ur race, right ?

首先，我认为你用美国人为例来说明“唯我独尊”的道理不太妥当。因为我们在谈论一个社会内部的问题，而你所举的例子却是关于一个社会群体对外界的表现。

第二，你没有看清楚我的原文，其实我对“主流社会”是有两个定义的，可以说我的第二个定义和你的定义有部分相似。请你再看看我的原文。

第三，认识到主流社会的存在并不是自我束缚，主流社会可以是无形的，也可以是有形的，但确是客观存在的。

再补充一点，认识到主流社会的存在并不意味不捍卫自己的权利，不捍卫自己的权利反而是与主流社会的理念背道而驰的，但如何捍卫自己的权利，这确实是一个问题，说起来又得长篇大论，在此就不多说了。
