postdoc的工资涨到70k意味着什么呢？

1。将会有很多博士生不毕业呆在学校里。。。

2。或毕了业进不了lab，当爱因斯坦的梦想被粉碎。。。直接奔向500强中的麦当劳。。。

以前一直是不用交税，不管年薪高低。加拿大的博士后虽然拿的是工作签证，但实质是半工作半学习充电的性质。其中生物领域的待遇其实是不低于一般工作的。还免税。像物理，化学，数学这类就低。收入差挺大。


以后就得交税了。

加拿大籍的 博士后肯定要交税的。拿工作签证的就不晓的了。前次有个大陆博士后就打听该如何不交加拿大的税。

• Postdoc surveyed have expressed frustration and dislike in being classified as ‘students’.

加拿大的博后都算工作的，要交税。美国的我不清楚

美国要看签证类型，J1签证有几年是免税的。

我认识的几位在加拿大的PostDoc是缴税的，不过他们已经是PR身份。他们不预扣税，所以在报税的时候，就要补窟窿啦。所以，每个人可能情况不同吧。

我们都住安省。

我周围的加拿大本地POSTDOC也没交过税，没被扣过税。

您说的前次的那个博后，也是OU的。是因为今年开始要交了，所以打听是否可以通过中加协议来继续免税。

1。 博士不毕业呆在学校里，也拿不了70k,博士后必须博士毕业后，有LAB接收。

2。博士毕业进不了LAB，可以找别的工作，有许多没进LAB，进了政府部门。有当公务员的，也有进生物公司的，有回国做教授的。现实跟您所想像的有差异，和爱因斯坦梦没什么联系，还真没人博士后做不了去了500强中的麦当劳的。

我知道的Ph. D中，除了搞科研和做经济分析师的，有两人在大学任教。
