去Port Hope 钓三文鱼.

Port Hope 离渥太华300公里，是401公路边的一个小镇。每年钓三文鱼的热点地方。小镇旁有一条小河流过，是三文鱼从大湖游上来产卵的地方。

钓三文鱼是小镇的一个旅游项目。所以在小镇的网页上有详细的信息。钓鱼的最佳时间是九月下旬。

钓鱼不要船。但怎么钓，有技巧。本人不知。本人对钓三文鱼倒不感兴趣，但想去观三文鱼。或看别人钓鱼。据说，火爆时，河边人挨人，很是壮观。但有的年份，鱼不多。今年不知怎样。

昨天去多伦多,路过的时候看了一眼.水坝那里已经很多了,河口那里不少人再钓,但是上鱼的几乎没有. 问了一个人,他说从前夜凌晨2点,到现在,只看到一个人上了一条.不知道是天气原因还是鱼的原因.

Fishing in Port Hope

The Municipality of Port Hope offers some of the most diverse year-round fishing opportunities in Ontario. Anglers can fly fish in the quiet, clean, cold waters of the Ganaraska River that runs through the heart of town, emptying into Lake Ontario. This majestic river offers some of the best trout and salmon fishing in the province and draws people from great distances to fish the spectacular trout and salmon runs that occur in the spring and fall. ​

The Ganaraska River Fishway, better known locally as the fish ladder, is operated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and local volunteers. In April up to 8,000 migratory Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) make the run upstream to spawn. Staging and spawning also takes place in the riverbed below the ladder. Fishing is excellent from the beginning of May to the end of July. Mid-Summer will see many species entering the river, including Pike, Walleye, Perch, Catfish, Smallmouth Bass and Freshwater Drum.​

September will start to show the immense Chinook Salmon. These fish will achieve sizes of 30 to 40 pounds. A trip to the fish ladder is always magical to watch the power of these majestic creatures as they jump the ladder. Mixed in with this run you may see silvery Coho Salmon and migratory Brown Trout in their vibrant spawning colours.​

The Port Hope Conservation Area is a popular fishing place just north of the Hwy. 401 Bridge. Other good spots to try are Gages Creek at the east end of town, Sylvan Glen Conservation Area, north of town, and the pond at the Garden Hill Conservation Area. All provide excellent fishing opportunities.​

Lake Ontario has a year-round fishery. The mouth of the Ganaraska River in town offers shore fishing in the winter. In the summer months there are numerous charter boat operators who will take eager anglers to the open water.​

Rice Lake is a short drive north of Port Hope. This long shallow lake provides a variety of species including Crappie, Bass, Perch, Walleye and Muskie. Tournaments are held regularly. It is advised to check the annual Fishing Regulations Summary available at license issuers, bait shops, marinas, and MNR offices.​

中秋那天网上是port hope钓三文最好的一个晚上。不过那里人太多了。既便上了鱼也不容易拉上来。所以，那里的规矩是：你上鱼的时候必须大喊一声"Fish On!” 边上的人会马上收线。同理，如果你听到边上的人喊"Fish On!”，你就要自觉收线，互助互利。鱼跑了的话不要忘了喊"Fish Off!”
河口晚上会很冷，千万记得带上厚点的衣服。

在河口用spoon，如果晚上的话，最好用夜光的。进入河道后，就得用鱼卵了，小钩，细线。去年根前年都在河道里面顿过2个通宵。个有2个bite，landing一条，很辛苦。主要是不会掉，我看会钓的人，上鱼还是很频繁的。你们要去的话得早点，去哪里的tackle shop买鱼卵。去完了人家下班关门了。

钓三文鱼不像bass，你站在那里直接拽就能上来。钓三文鱼很多时候不知道是你在拉鱼还是鱼在拉你，你得跟溜狗一样跟在他后面一阵小跑。等到他筋疲力尽的时候，在拉他上来。叫fish on的目的是让他家收线，给你留出溜鱼的空间。不然大家线都搅到一起去了就没法玩了（那里高峰的时候平均1米一个人），如果鱼往上游跑还要叫fish up/fish down。好让大家知道你的动向。总之，还有晚上钓鱼要注意安全，照明设施要带好，去年目睹一个mm，遛鱼不幸落水的，上鱼要淡定啊！

我不是说我不会钓吗,真不会钓. 我看会钓的一会就一条.也不是是不是我买的卵不好. 还是人品不好.也有不会钓的过去,编制线大钩挂卵的,一会也能搞2条.不好说阿.
不过你去钓的话要有思想准备,肯定没有搞shad那么容易
