【买车成长记】请教买车的问题：最好6座+

您说得对，不买Van的原因有三个，一是领导对大车比较打怵，怕开不好；而是我每天开Van上下班，单程30km，费油倒是其次，就是有点不得劲儿；三是现在家里四个大人一个小孩，如果要生第二个估计最少1年多2年以后，全家6口出游最少2年多以后。

确实是实情。
各家需求都不一样，再加上个性的差异，这才造成了大家买车的千差万别，这才使多个国家的汽车公司都能同时生存。

顺便一说，如果如您所说："目前我的考虑是先买一辆Mazda5，...，然后等明后年家庭扩张了再买一辆Chrysler的C&T"，则要规划好了。您明后年是“换”车呢，还是“新增”？如果是新增，拥有两辆Minivan好象有点过了；如果是“换”，两年之内换车，经济上损失是比较大的，还不如一次到位呢。

You can buy a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan for $21500 everything included now. Have AC and other basic stuff, 3rd row seat can be folded and stowed. No power doors. Otherwise pretty adequate. Cheaper than a Honda Civic!
I almost bought one but changed my mind because I do not really need a minivan.

实在不行了，那就奔Van去吧。那时大家会看到一个totally的方向转变，希望不要晕头才行。

解释一下“不得劲儿”，其实就是自己的一点私心，觉着应该sporty一点、操控感好一些。这点上领导的意见肯定与我相左，。Caravan 3.5L的引擎比其他家耗油一些也就算了，毕竟重一些嘛，但是马力和扭矩也弱太多了。

多谢华侨大侠的信息！现在看了一下，Price是$32.5k，然后apply了一个$4k的rebate，这样的话税应该是32.5*0.13=$4.225k，有点吃不消。到底是降一下级买Mazda5（0%利率的确轻松很多，尽管每月都要付）呢还是再等等EDGE 2011版的圣诞优惠？纠结。。。

应该做一个补充，说明一下，呵呵。

我们的考虑是申请Line of Credit需要一段时间（印象里是~3周？），那么，假如行了的话，拿到这个已经是10月10号左右了，目前的优惠好像都已经过期了。而用我们自己的余钱购买的话，还需要借款才行。因此感觉压力比较大，呵呵。

不过这个帖子给我最大的好处倒不是车本身，而是意识到了Line of Credit的重要性。非常感谢西西妈和华侨两位的建议，让我重新考虑了LoC的重要性，发现用它可以调节我们的房贷，这个就是大头了，

My understanding to CAR loan interest rate is different from Mortgage.
CAR loan rate is FLAT rate, Home Mortgage is Amortization.

If Car loan rate is 3 % and Mortgage is 3 %, CAR loan rate in fact is much higher.

Hence, the best is to have line of credit, and use the credit to pay off a car to get full benefit of CASH bonus.

** The best time to buy a car in fact was last year!
Recession is over in Canada and I expect car price will (and should) go up.

只有两点：一是不要导航和DVD，因为价格加了但并不一定实用；二是reliability，一定要彻底赶上，改变很多人（包括我）的成见。

记住是2011款，2010款以前DAIMLER管理方面的问题内饰只能ON PAR。。。尽管FEATURE方面还是不错的。。。。

CHRYSLER集团的车只有这几款是好车，300/Charger/Challenger, Caravan/T&C, Ram pickup truck, 其他2010款和以前的可以自动忽略了。。。

毕竟是mini-van的始祖，我认识很多人01-03的CARAVAN开了25万公里，BULLET-PROOF

不怕大家笑话，我的第一辆Grand Caravan开到了30万公里 （确切地说，是29.9万公里）！

最后不开了，是因为空调坏了。不修吧，噪音太大（因为是皮带连动，即使不开空调，也有噪音）；修吧，车子还没有空调贵。

如果不介意韩国车的话。前2周，看到BANK街上的现代2009SANTAFE清仓，18xxx,这个车和EDGE差不多，有7座选。比VAN sporty多很多、操控感好很多。就是油耗和VAN一样。
