<HTML>Actually it is in the way of Lucent Technologies. The only difference is Nortel faces the fact, it cut the job immediately. From my opinion, in this crisis, such big company like Nortel is not able to get over quickly. Maybe it will follow the Lucent, 70% possibility. And So do Alcatel, Alcatel will be better, but no longer than the end of this year.

<HTML>Did you guys ever try some small software companies in Toronto and Vancouver? Some new grad I know got several interviews there in the past two weeks. If you were aiming at network equipment companies, maybe you can change focus to application software. Nortel, Lucent and CSCO are all big losers these days, but look at Microsoft, it's almost break even in the past year.
Anyway, spread your targets, and be patient.</HTML>

Of course, I received several interview calls from other cities,
but no result. Actually one company want to give me offer, but I have waited 2 months, they only say "stay tuned". poor ecomony.
Sometimes, I want to move to other city, such as Toronto or Vancouver,
but now I think the sky is the same.
How to do tomorrow? Who can tell me?
