Golf on Friday, October 22nd?

Planning to spare a few hours to play a round of golf on Friday, the 22nd of October. Would it be too cold in Ottawa to play or any weather-brave golfers there?

For your information, last year a few of us played vitually till snowing time (November 27). So if the same weather pattern repeats this season, you should enjoy a "warm" round of golf on Oct 22nd.

Hello Robbin, very nice to know the weather is not the limit... I recall in 2005, my last round of golf before Christmas was Dec 16 over a thin layer of snow and some others played golf on Dec 23, before a heavy snow day followed by the closure of the course...

22号这天的温度尽管还是有点冷（最高温度5度），不过风还不大，而且还没有frost delay，能够按预计的时间开球，所以这场球除了距离短了些，果岭的的平滑程度比夏天查了一些，打球的自然条件还是非常好的，所有的安排和自然条件都如愿，感到很幸运。

在这里感谢Robin的热情和联络工作。尽管他有要事没打成，也还热心的帮忙联系。

同时非常感谢Calvin场地的地主之谊和临时改变球场的决定。Calvin可真是个考虑打球非常细致周到和可靠的打球组织人。你们渥太华华人打球的活动，要是由他来组织，绝对细致可靠，错不了。

谢谢阿平的参与和友情。阿平的开球真是大手笔，他们两人的铁杆也都非常漂亮，羡煞人也！11月14号我还到渥太华。希望那天不是很冷，能够打球。。。
