A bad break-up can hit you like a cinder block.
Suddenly, you find yourself unable to get out of bed. You cry uncontrollably at random intervals. You can’t sleep, you can’t go to work, you can’t listen to music because every song reminds you of what you’ve lost.
Your friends try to cheer you up but they just don’t understand. Your world has come crashing down. And no amount of chocolate ice cream or retail therapy can take away the pain. You hate the fact that it’s affecting every other aspect of your life and you’d give anything just to be able to find closure and move on, but you can’t seem to figure out how to do it.
You’re stuck in a vicious cycle of torment and anguish and there doesn’t appear to be any way out.
Even though the relationship is ending, a part of you still deeply cares for the individual. That's natural.
