4点45-50许, Shirley's brook / March Rd路口处发生重大交通事故
事故中至少有一辆车(应该是2辆车)撞上了路边的红绿灯,把它连根拔起,冲到了路沟里头去了.
车祸后方就是Shell加油站,前方不远处是天然气输气管道

警察叔叔们已经把路口封锁了,有3辆消防车,4辆救护车以及诺干警车在现场开始了救助行动


提醒司机朋友们节日期间,为了家人和自己,小心慢行.注意安全

Woman dies after two-vehicle crash in the west-end


An elderly woman died after a two-vehicle collision in the city's west-end Wednesday afternoon.

The woman was riding in a Honda Accord with a man when their car was struck by another vehicle on its passenger side just before 5 p.m on March Road near Morgan's Grant Way.

The impact caused the car to slam into a light post.

The man driving the vehicle had to be extricated. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

March Road was closed between Terry Fox Drive and Morgan's Grant Way as of 6 p.m. so police could investigate the crash.

OTTAWA — A woman was killed late Wednesday afternoon when the car in which she was a passenger struck a light standard after colliding with dump truck in Kanata.
Emergency crews responded to the call at March Road and Morgan’s Grant Way at 4:45 p.m. The woman, described by the Ottawa fire department as elderly, was a passenger in a four-door Honda Accord that was struck on the passenger’s side, sending it crashing into the light standard.
By the time firefighters extricated the male driver of the Accord at 5:14, the woman had died at the scene.
Ottawa paramedics spokesman J.P Trottier said the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but he was not sure whether the man was in critical or stable condition. He was unable to answer whether the driver of the dump truck was injured.
Police closed March Road
