I know many people will go back to China in the end of April or early May. Since the SARS situation is so serious, I am wondering if we should postpone the trip. In the airplane, if one person has SARS, all passengers could be in dangers of getting it.

As the news just said, people already overacted against asian especially
Chinese. Some parents in Toronto already asking the school to keep chinese
children away. The commercial cnter in china town becomes vacant. Some
chinese resturant post the notice saying that people just came from asia
is not wellcome.

Thanks for the response, but I didn't see your point. You mean we should travel back to China as scheduled anyway no matter how serious the SARS situation is?

Don't so scare about SARS. The situation is not that serious in Canada even in China. Most of patients could recover in 10 days. It's terrible for seriors, but not for young people. So, I won't cancel even postpone my travel. But, I will be care when I come back. I am not going to put other people in risk.

In person, you don't need to worry about being infected. The
trouble is when others know you just came back from China, how
they will treat you.
