For cellphone WIFI Hot Spot, can multiple computers use the device and have the connection at the same time? I have 4 PCs.
To get decent connections, 3 computers can be connected to cell phone.
What's the requirement for my current computers if I go with cellphone WIFI Hot Spot in terms of operating system, software and hardware? Mine are kind of old.
Any computer with WIFI either adapter, embedded or PCI-X carc is OK. PC end software depends on software coming with WIFI either adapter, embedded or PCI-X.
Is Mobilicity signal really stable? If so, I may even cancel my landline and go to hell Bhell!
Frankly speaking, wireless is not as stable as DSL or cable. However I tried to let hot spot turned on and working for continuous 2 days. It is very stable for browsing and most of internet application except video streaming and large file download.
Does Mobilicity allow some try-out time after I sign the contract? I mean if I have the second chance to cancel the deal in case things don't work out.
7 days return policy, you must meet all three 3 requirements:
- No more than 30 minutes voice call
- No more than 1M bytes data usage
-No more than 10 text message.
If you have a family with many persons, you had better keep wireline connection for emergency. If 1 to 2 persons, it could be wise to port landline number to such unlimited cell phone.
Such wireless unlimited plan is a kind of fixed or femto solution. It is a biggest threat to 3G FEMTO business.
