请教如何向不良车行讨个公道!

今天去MIDAS做winter的maintainance才发现我的车每个车轮都少了一个wheel nut。我看了一下每个车轮应该有5个nut固定,而我一直都没有发现我的车只有4个nut在上面。而且每一个轮子少的都是需要我的才能下的。
这样一想,我除了上次被人查轮胎,并且问我要了special nut key的就是去年7月中在baseline上的angelo‘s service limited 换ABS sensor的时候。
所以下午4点50拿着当时的收据赶过去,结果那个manager还是owner的开了以后先说他们没下过我的轮胎,后来我给他回忆了下,那天早上的我abs light先亮,然后送他们那,结果他说要下轮胎一个个查,我回了家又问我special nut key在哪。但现在他说他们只下了右边换sensor的那个,而且他们根本不需要下轮胎查,他们有什么scaner之类的扫一下就好了。最后又说他要下班了,只能明早帮我看一下,让我明早打电话给他,但是说的时候敷衍的口气很明显。
在这想请教各方高人,如果明天他说没有,我如何才能维护自己的合法权益呢?

PS,今天还发现我的驾驶座下应该有个什么universal pad的也不见了,我去年在他那修完就一直觉得那地方少了什么,现在终于知道是什么了,哎!! 现在真的是气的要死!!
 
除非你换四个ABS sensor,否则傻瓜才会卸下你的四个轮子。估计MIDS 提供不实信息而不是上一家捣鬼。少了一个螺丝都不在知道是你自己的问题。国内考驾照,上车前必须要绕车转一周,坚持脚踢每个轮胎,然后才能请求上车。

肯定不是MIDAS干的,当时我在看。而且我丢的wheel nut是special lock的那种,需要我的key才能下,当时我就好奇MIDAS没和我要key就下了轮胎了,结果立马就悲剧了。
PS,今天给那个garage又打了电话了,直接不承认。

当时我的ABS light亮了,车行说可能很多种原因,所以就查呗,哎!
你也可以说是我的问题,但如果对方拿的是你看不见的零件,你绕多少圈也没用啊!
 
若有人将主轴锯断一半你没发现属意外,将螺丝松掉一半你没发现属大意,那四个大螺丝在最显眼的地方,被取走了,你若干天都没发现还有啥好抱怨的?行车之前要检查。

觉得你有点不知所云,那按你这么说不管你买东西还是送修什么东西,只要你当时没发现问题之后就都是你自己的问题了。你这样的客户真是全天下商家最喜欢的,佩服!

我觉得你有点儿咬吕洞宾,车辆安全要靠自己经常检查,毕竟是性命攸关的东西。要自己的命还是要车行的钱?
何况你自己养成经常检查的习惯,很可能没出车行你就自己发现了,至少有个证据,也用不着现在这样子连个证据都没有,车行还可以反咬一口你讹诈呢。
行车前检查,最懒最懒也要两周一次测轮胎胎压,即使一年测26次都一样。相信车行不如相信自己。
 
估计LZ的车用wheel cover,没看见也正常。一般人也不会把cover卸下来查一下螺母上全了没有。配4个普通的螺母就可以了,不必生这闷气。
 
那个Key其实是个碍事的东西,没有反而太平些(俺每部车都有请师傅强行卸掉它们的经历)。
既然丢了就干脆换成普通的,大约就是20刀的损失(4*$5),大过年的生闷气不值得。
 
wheel locks normally are for alloy wheels. i replaced my worn out wheel locks with normal nuts a few years ago in costco, around $1 each, and they actually didn't charge me for that.
 
In my opinion, only if you could provide proof, or it's hard to determine where your wheel nut are.

I am not saying that you are wrong or anything, but something like this, and it's been over 6 months time period, are you even certain that it's them who kept your wheel nuts?

Let's make an situation where you rent a car, after 6 months time, the rental company come to you and say the car you rented had a dent on the door and you are responsible, would you pay for the repair? (this might not be the best example since rental company will check their car when car is returned).

Don't get me wrong, if you can provide proof, then you have all the right, other wise, you would have to take your lose.

My experience more than 10 years ago. I flown to Vancouver and rented a car at Vancouver airport, and I returned the car three days later. The guy didn't insepct the car and he told me I can go. Three days later, the company called my family (not in Vancouver) and left a message, saying that they found something missing, and charged to my credit card 75 CAD. The guy left a phone number but when my family called, he never returned our call (I skip further details here). Since my credit card covers car insurance, in the end, my family doesn't need to pay one cent, but what the car rental company did was WRONG. So my family called our credit card company, and explained to them that car rental company didn't check that returned car at the spot but after three days said there was damage, and the car was parked at public parking lot!!! My insurance company told us pay them first, and credit card company will pay us back, and asked us to write a complaining letter and send to them, then his company will deal with that car rental company directly. My family spent four hours wrote a two pages letter, and mailed to credit card company, and later I learnt that the car rental company has to return money back to credit card company.
Lesson learnt? Yes. car rental company has NO evidence that the time I returned the car, that part was missing, and by the same token, I cannot say the part was missing before I rented the car. That is democracy.
Before you rent a car, the car rental employee will inspect the car with you, mark all the dents on the rental agreement, and both signed. When you return your car, same process.
