if you are working in a company with stock options etc. and you know that your company is potentially be sold for a profit of all your stock options (or already owed through epp), you should save some rrsp rooms for that event. when the company get sold, all those options will be exercised, all your epp stocks will be sold. most of these income will be your taxable income and you pay huge tax on them if you don't have good room of rrsp to offset them![]()
