The Robotic Floor Washer.
This is Scooba (invented by the creators of the Roomba), an autonomous robot that simultaneously prepares, washes, scrubs, and squeegees up to 850' sq. of tile, linoleum, or sealed hardwood floors without human intervention. Scooba moves in a precise, methodical pattern to clean every inch of a floor up to five times, ensuring effective removal of grime and dirt. As the robot passes over flooring, it sweeps up loose dirt and emits a cleaning solution while a rotary brush gently scrubs, eliminating up to 98% of common household bacteria like E. Coli and Staphylococcus. The robot is compact enough to reach under cabinet kick boards and most furniture, and avoids chair legs, ledges, carpets, and stairs using an integrated sensor that redirects the robot when it encounters an obstacle. Two Virtual Walls project infrared beams that confine the floor washer to one room, ensuring the room is thoroughly cleaned. Scooba can clean up to four rooms on a single charge. Operates for up to 90 minutes after a four-hour charge. For use with tap water, vinegar, or Clorox Scooba Cleaning Solution (8 oz. included). 3 1/2" H x 14" Diam. (14 lbs.)
