The Reggio Emilia philosophy is based upon the following set of principles:
  • Children must have some control over the direction of their learning;
  • Children must be able to learn through experiences of touching, moving, listening, seeing, and hearing;
  • Children have a relationship with other children and with material items in the world that children must be allowed to explore and
  • Children must have endless ways and opportunities to express themselves.

Greenboro Day Care is a very good daycare center. My older one had stayed two years there before she went to JK. The teachers there are nice and stable, most of them have worked there for more than 10 years. They have a on-site cook who prepares very fresh and healthy food every day. They have two big seperate yards and one indoor gym, so the kids can ride tricycles indoor in the winter. Moreover, when the centre closes one week in August and one week in December, they deduct that portion of money from the tuition fees (according to my experiences a few years ago).

Children must have some control over the direction of their learning;第一条就没有仔细的标准,你需要去不同的幼儿园才能比较,或者问专业。
Children must be able to learn through experiences of touching, moving, listening, seeing, and hearing。
Children have a relationship with other children and with material items in the world that children must be allowed to explore and
Children must have endless ways and opportunities to express themselves.
