请教四轮驱COMPACT SUV 

如果我没记错的话,楼主提到的3种车都应该属于AWD,所谓全时四驱,只有前轮打滑时后驱才自动切入;差速器不能手动调整,所以我说他们都不是真正的越野车。

Subaru = AWD, all of Subaru vehicles: ALL wheel-drive, ALL the time, not RealTime. :p

Forester handling is better than Outback, especially if you like turbo...
 
True AWD of small SUV

I did spend some time on researching which AWD small SUV is the "best" before went to US to get Outback,

As to my experience, only Subaru all serials and Suzuki Grand Vitara are true AWD (small SUV, under $30K). Audi Quattro is too expensive.
Grand Vitara has traditional 4x4, H/L setting, but not too comfort for driving in city(I drove one for about a week... rent car).

H4 Subaru is too weak for your acceleration, turbo one or H6 are much better. Since you are looking for "fun", get the turbo.

Both Subaru and Suzuki are over priced in Canada, go down south is the best choice.

Hope you land on a Subaru. :D

只有jeep才是real 4x4...
