Event: Beginners practice.
Date and time: 2:00 PM to 4:00PM Saturday May 28, 2011.
6:30PM to 8:30PM May 30, 2011
Venue: On The Green Driving Range & Mini Golf

Format: group practice with instruction from experienced golfers.

Free of charge. Please bring your own clubs. A bucket of range balls is around $9.

The event will be cancelled automatically if it rains.

Friendly reminder: May 28 is also the deadline for OCGO registration.

为帮助初学者尽快掌握技术、增加自信，OCGA将在近期组织练习场指导活动。地点在Barrhaven地区，时间在周末或某个工作日的晚饭之后。具体时间另行通知。

请注意指导仅限于初学者，指导者由有经验的球友担任，并非专业教练。已有一定基础的球友不必参加。不过如愿意一同练球并帮助初学者，我们非常欢迎。

Robin, can you please mark some games as "beginners welcome" in the future if they are particularly suitable for beginners?

Thanks XY for the idea!

But it may be difficult to ask "seasoned" or competitive players playing "real" games with beginners who have no prior game experience. Like last year, we need organize a scramble or "best ball" game for this purpose to control the pace of game.

It's a great idea to get things going on the practice driving range.

This Saturday 10 -12 Barrhaven On the Green

If weather permitted, will be there between 2PM to 4PM this Saturday. Will be glad to see you there.

(May 30th evening 6:30PM - 8:30PM would be considered too.)

Like said before, I am just a golf fan and would like to share the experience. So won't be able to provide one to one coach.

Important correction: Hugh will be the one to teach correct swings. Robin will be the one to show incorrect swings ...
