How to stop a car with no brakes (brake failure)

1. Don't panic!
2. Take your foot off the gas, and turn off cruise control (if on).
3. try to pump your brakes to restore brake pressure
4. Shift into low gear gradually based on vechicle speed
5. Use emergency brake (parking brake) bring you to final halt.

parking brake 在雪地不好用，我试过，因为有abs，车还是会向前走。

I am thinking in a low speed scenario and brake becomes no longer functional, parking brake is the way to stop vehicle. Anybody has even tried?
