红灯右拐 - 罚单？---感谢在我的贴上帮助过我的大侠们

如果是我的错，我会吸取教训的。我只是第一次遇到这样的问题。所以想咨询一下。

Red light

A red light means you must stop. Bring your vehicle to a complete stop at the stop line if it is marked on the pavement. If there is no stop line, stop at the crosswalk, marked or not. If there is no crosswalk, stop at the edge of the sidewalk. If there is no sidewalk, stop at the edge of the intersection.

Wait until the light changes to green and the intersection is clear before moving through it.

Unless a sign tells you not to, you may turn right on a red light only after coming to a complete stop and waiting until the way is clear. You may also turn left on a red light if you are moving from a one-way road onto a one-way road, but you must come to a complete stop first and wait until the way is clear.

你别说，我没上过这里驾校，就吃了a complete stop　的亏，警察叔叔就是讲我红灯右拐没Ｆｕｌｌｙ　Ｓｔｏｐ给了我单子。
后来听人讲３秒，就是停了数１，２，３就算Ｃｏｍｐｌｅｔｅ　Ｓｔｏｐ了，我的理解是华人教练便于教学，故意这么数字化吧，否则讲不清楚

我觉得你不存在上庭的事, 没警察啊
你只需要去单子后面给的地址那里陈述一下小威给你出的主意(事实上你也的确是良民好司机不是故意闯红灯玩), 减免是一定的

冲你这句话，我也得去试试。刚才看得不仔细，罚款总数居然是325，不是260。

当然要上庭的。

1。在罚单上填Not Guilty然后寄走；
2。等待小法庭的上庭通知；
3。上庭通知上有负责你Case的Prosecutor的名字和电话，给他/她挂个电话了解一下情况。

4。分析“案情”做好上庭的准备：

第一种可能 -- 是按你直行闯红灯。这很简单，证明你是右转即可。法庭上是一票一案的程序，就是说原告（罚单）控告你直行闯红灯，如果你胜了原告不可以在法庭临时增加控告（你STOP Sign违章）。 所以一定要把控告的内容搞清楚。

第二种可能 -- 是按STOP Sign违章不足3秒。无法否定照相机的结果，但要强调你是“完全按STOP Sign右转的规则来开车的，感觉应该足有3秒了。” （其实法官大人自己99%的STOP Sign右转也不足3秒）。

第三种可能 -- 是按直行闯红灯或STOP Sign违章不足3秒。按上面方法逐个否认就好了。


5。开庭当天，Prosecutor会提前和你把内容沟通一下；有时Prosecutor会根据具体的案情和你协商如果你“Plead Guilty”会有一个什么样的“减轻处罚”，这个多适用于警察出罚单的情况 （如果他/她Offer给你从$260减轻$60，那就直接交钱走人啦，没必要再和法官唇枪舌剑了）。总之，要提早到法庭，和Prosecutor接触，同时熟悉环境。
