Helen Ge is the founder and owner of this CGA firm. She has a Master degree in Accountancy and the Certified General Accountant designation.
Helen Ge has many years of enriched experience in accounting. She has worked as accountant, controller, chief financial officer, tax advisor for companies in China and Canada. She was also an Auditor in the public accounting firms. Early on in her career, she taught courses on American and British accounting theories in the Department of Accounting in Xiamen University in China. Prior to the establishment of her own accounting firm in 1997, She was a senior accountant in a CGA firm in Ottawa.
Helen Ge actively involves in volunteer work and community services. Over the past few years, in cooperation with Ottawa Chapter of CGA Ontario and other local not-for-profit organizations, she organized the free income tax preparation service for seniors, new immigrants and low-income individuals. She also provides professional accounting service, free of charge, for a number of local charitable or not-for-profit organizations.
