Job Description
As a sr. Technical consultant you will be accountable for life cycle consulting on all essentials of current cisco unified communications solutions and sustaining infrastructure. At minimum, this includes, unified messaging with unity voicemail, microsoft exchange, callmanager clusters, cisco pstn voice gateways, unity connection and active directory configuration, (cer) e911, and cisco ipcc express.
Responsibilities:
Supply direction and leadership to customers and project teams by leveraging their substantial experience in helping to rectify platform problems, and making strategic suggestions.
Document creation utilizing the company’s templates for design and as built documentation.
Pre-sales support including help to sales engineers, involvement in customer meetings, and analyzes of design and statement of work documentation.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or at least 10 years of related experience.
Experience:
• preferably candidates will have led and performed recent callmanager deployments with numerous subscribers and will have ucc enterprise experience.
• experience with the cisco nexus product family is a plus.
• experience with traditional pbx’s such as; siemens, avaya, nortel, etc. (this is a plus)
• experience in configuration of qos on numerous cisco hardware platforms.
• solid core switching and routing experience.
• experience with traditional call center architecture and acd’s is a plus.
• experience in numerous unity messaging systems, which will comprise of unified communications deployments and unity connection deployments.
