建议大家不要在Canada Post寄重要东西

前几天,不,确切的应该是上个月,在Canada Post寄了一个非常重要的包裹(by register) 到今天都不知道对方是否收到(只是寄往离这里最近的美国的一个地方)然后,打了很多次电话给他们问情况,前两次是两个女的,态度还算可以,最后一次是个男的,态度及其恶略 :flaming: :flaming: :flaming: 把我东西寄丢了不说,还很有理的样子,说什么东西寄丢概不负责.
我现在很想知道,为什么寄挂号件还会丢?如果和他们打官司能否赢?谢谢.

挂号信的话你会有一个item number.可以到www.canadapost.ca 上用track a package去查一下.

应该每个环节都有记录.上次我查,他们说到上海了.所以
至少可以查到哪里出了问题.

I also mailed a registered mail to USA with very important materials. 5 days after mailing, I checked the status online, and found not delivered to the destination. So I complained, and the whole case lasts for 4 months, now I only get a refund check with wrong name and wrong amount. Today I called Canada Post, told me to wait for another call and she said: About the money, it's a matter of a dollar and wrong first name does not matter!

It seems many of you have bad experience with Canada Post. In contrast, I am pretty satisfied with it. I have sent many packages to US and China, and all of them arrived the destination on time.

FedEx比较好，以前寄过一个东西去国内，他们给寄去了智利！，找他们陪了一个重新邮寄，免费的。

挂号信的话你会有一个item number.可以到www.canadapost.ca 上用track a package去查一下.

我track了,寄出大概一个星期,然后一直没有消息,所以我就打电话问他们,sigh,态度恶略,而且只会教你等,我也觉得每个环节应该都能追到,但是他们说出了Ottawa就不管了,所以,到现在status还是显示3月27从ottawa正式发出去,实际上我26就寄了.

FedEx比较好，以前寄过一个东西去国内，他们给寄去了智利！，找他们陪了一个重新邮寄，免费的。

下次试试FedEx,但是,关键是里面重要的东西 ,我得身家性命呀

I had the exactly similar case, mailed a letter to US, it was not received, I even used Purolator, which is next day arrival, cost me more than $30,
I was told Purolator is the safest and fastest way .
But it was lost, I call to track, didn't mention how long I had to wait, I was told it was put on the front door of destination. that's it.

Well, I went through a tons of pain to fixed the lost stuff, and from post I only got refund of my postage.

Don't use canada post, try Fedex

Forget about Purolator too, it is rubbish. About 1 year ago, I sent a very important document to China, it never mailed out, after countless calls and inquires, the parcel was returned to me after about 18 days and I have to pay for the return fee. What a joke !
I used UPS later and it arrived in ShangHai for only 2 days (Yes, 2 days only, I sent around 7:00pm on Monday and arrived around 1:00pm Wed)
If possible, forget about Canada Post for international packages, use UPS / FedEx instead.
