Most Canadian stay in Canada not because of the weather, but it's the place they live, their families are here, their friends are here. They know this place. This is where they belong. And that is saddest and hardest thing for the first generation immigrants, always balancing between two cultures.

Most Canadian stay in Canada not because of the weather, but it's the place they live, their families are here, their friends are here. They know this place. This is where they belong. And that is saddest and hardest thing for the first generation immigrants, always balancing between two cultures.
I enjoy living here because:
1) There are much fewer thefts in Canada.
A lot of my stuffs were stolen almost every year in China since University.
2) Most people are honest here. While in China, "few people"
3) Fresh Air.
4) In China, everyday looks like "fighting", even at bus station.
Here I don't have much chances to fight for myself, execpt that "CRFA"
and several small service fee claims.

The two things I hate are:
1) Winter is so long here. (5-6 months)
2) Job market is small.

Just curious, if you have a job, or maybe a job guaranteed for the rest of your life, are you happy doing the same kind of work for the rest of your life? And are you happy everyday at work? I mean, even you do get along with your co-workers, and you are valued by your hard work and technical skills, do you feel truly happy chatting with them about how well senator's been doing and Quebec's choice of liberal party? Again, pure curiosity.
