Copper is called the commodity with a PHd in economics because it is so closely tied to global economic trends. Copper is not only a good leading indicator of those trends, but of the stock market as well. Historically, copper and stock prices are pretty closely correlated because both are leading indicators of the economy.
Check spy chart and FCX chart , each time big market rebound fcx must be led. Or say, FCX must be rebounded firstly , otherwise ,it will be failed rebound.
