MPEL,WYNN,LVS looks good too.

板块在轮动,也许明天到赌场股了。呵呵。:blowzy:

AAPL和GOOG好像还有$10钱的空间。呵呵。

Good work ! It is interesting to see coal companies are so bullish. The competition from abundant natural gas from shale shall be head wind for coal.

Do not know how JRCC's ER turn out to be tomorrow morning. But by its chart, looks like start to a home run soon. But you never know. Can you study JRCC to figure out why it drop so much. It should be $20 stock in my mind. But i have not followed it for a while. BTU,ANR (sold last week, pain today to see it pop up 15% one day alone!),PCX are my major play!

Thanks, Cat!

Keep light position over weekend!

US stocks finished near the high today after moving up
strongly throughout the whole day on Thursday. The
morning started off with the Jobless Claims report
showing below 400,000 claims, increased productivity
and factory output increased. We also have Greece
hanging on by a thread that could move the market
either way depending upon if they prevent a bankruptcy
filing or leave the euro zone and return to the drachma
currency.
The way the market is setting up is a confidence vote
supporting the current Prime Minister Papandreou and
stocks could easily spike higher with that event as well
as a likely bailout that follows. If Greece has a
referendum vote and isn’t passed by their political
system, Germany’s Merkel said Greece would “not
receive a cent” of bailout money.
It is difficult to take a position one way or another with
stocks as they could go sharply up or down. Keep
positions smaller than normal and after today’s
developments, longs have a slight bias to move up. But
we are in an environment where we have never seen this
before and history is in the making before our eyes.

The Dow30 was up 1.76%, Nasdaq Composite was up
2.20%, the S&P 500 was up 1.88%, and the Russell 2000
was up 2.49%. The CBOE Volatility Index which is a gauge
used to measure fear in the market place was down 6.8%
and advancers led decliners 3 to 1.
In economic news, Jobless Claims dropped more than
expected to 397K. Productivity rose 3.1% which was more than the 2.8% expected and was the biggest increase since the
first quarter of 2010.
ISM Services came in at 52.9 for October. This marked the lowest level since July and was under the 53.7 that was
expected. Factory Orders unexpectedly rose 0.3% in September as a decrease of 0.2% was anticipated.
QCOM, Qualcomm was up 7.5% Thursday after reporting strong earnings that easily beat expections. K, Kellogg was
down 7.6% after announcing disappointing earnings and gave a weak outlook. EK, Eastman Kodak reported a wider than
expected loss Thursday and closed down 6.6%.
We have some key economic reports Friday with Nonfarm Payrolls, and the Unemployment Rate scheduled to be released
at 8:30am Eastern, before the market opens. The Unemployment Rate is expected to remain at 9.1.

To combine fundamental with short-term speculation, I guess the target must have very shining points.

These shining points are like baits to fish and must be irresistible to the instincts of the fish.

For JRCC, I am not sure if such points exist by briefly looking at its financial but I will take a look at 10K.

Personally, I think oil is probably more shiny since there is no alternative. Oil sand is probably the only alternative. If oil price goes over $100, oil sands probably will be on fire.

SU has 6 B proven and probably reserve and 17 B of contingent reserve. Its current production is about 0.3 M per day.

Remember Buffett said at $120 per barrel, oil sands will make a lot of money. So this is the shining point and everyone knows. If it hits, it is going to be big ...

Any thoughts ?
