It's sad for me to hear the news. I have a guess; he didn't know he's going to die in couple months before the election. If he knew it, he would give up the election and enjoy the left of his life with his family, that's common sense for everyone. But my husband said, he could know it before the election, he just wanted to win the election battle to be successful in his political career. I don't agree with that. If someone knows his/her life won't be lasting longer, what else would be important to him/her? I guess it would be his personal life with his family.
