BIG problem with Rogers, need help.

Hi folks, I just have a serious problem with Rogers. I just recieved my cell phone bill for last month. The price was shocking me, 146 bux. It says I used 700+ mins in day time (it was free after 8pm). One call has my attension. It shows that I recieved one call on 19:47 Dec 7 for 258 mins which is more than 4 hours! And 130 mins of 258 mins are IRM which defines as Roaming calling out of local call area by Rogers. But 1000% sure I didn't get that call, and I hadn't left town until this year. Just this one weird call costs me almost 90 bux. I have called both custom service and custom relationship of Rogers. They insist there is no error in the system, and ask me to pay the bill. After a few arguement, they agree to cut half price, but I am not willing to pay for wut I didn't get. And they can do this on Dec, they can do it again in the future. Now, wut should I do to get my money back (I've paid the bill already)? Really need help.

do you have a caller number display? what is the calling number? do you know the guy that called you? did you leave the cell phone in the car?

I don't have a car, and I was alone at home that night.
Since it's a incoming call, the number doesn't appear on the bill. I've call rogers, and they refused to tell me the number due some privacy.
It's a clip phone, so there is no way I will forget to hang off.
 
I don't know if you have the right to let rogers release that calling number. In china, all mobile phones/networks have to support caller number display since the users are charged for incoming calls. You cannot let someone pay if you cannot show the caller and explain the call records.
If you cannot get the calling number, can rogers explain where you were when you received the call, since they charge you for IRM, they must have your location information. They should release that information as there is no privacy associated issues.
 
pay $50 to go to the court. Find your witness that you are in town that day.
 
do not worry as you own them money, which is easier to deal. do not pay them. Ask for their manager to call you back. insist to do so until you are happy.
 
They are cheating you about protecting caller's privacy. Why could they show the incoming call numbers if you subscribe the call id service? They are just fooling around. Ask them to provide the proof for that call otherwise you won't pay the bill.

not a good idea, they can send to colletion and report to credit bureau, which will cost you more!

Please don't give up. You have to be very firm that you haven't received such. If you have to, then escalate to their upper management. Bottom line is: never give up. Similar thing happened to me once with another company. But I got my money back.

I was alone at home that day, and I live in downtown. It's impossible for me to get out of city in exam week.

nobody care if you are or not out of city,
that can't prove your cellphone do in the city.

let rogers to prove the phone bill, not you to prove,
