请教在政府工作应该注意什么

有没有仔细想过他为什么和你做对呢?找到原因好对症下药啊。一旦闹到工会和HR那里,恐怕局面就不太好收拾了,再说你以后找工作大概也需要他的REFERENCE吧。最好是和你的SUPERVISOR好好谈谈。Good luck!
 
Don't take it for granted you can't be fired. I witnessed someone was let go on probation for the reason of lack of performance, which is good enough to justify the manager's action.
Like someone mentioned, you have to find out why your Super does't like you, then go from there. In the mean time, keep other authority informed about your situation if things turn ugly.

Too bad --- the worst part for you is that you are ON PROBATION --- if you are already an indeterminate employee then there is practically almost no way for your supervisor to let you go --- but the fact that you are on probation makes it easier for your supervisor if he is really determined to get rid of you.

I think the best option for you is to (1) first, talk with your supervisor, try to improve the situation --- try to pass your probation period; (2) second, keep your performance at a at least OK level, do not give your supervisor the excuse that you are under performing; (3) look for another job within the government --- try to get a good reference from your supervisor (sometimes a supervisor will give a good reference for a subordinate whom he wants to get rid of --- just for the reason that he wants that subordinate to leave his group); (4) if necessary, keep the upper management and/or HR informed.

听起来,还不那么简单。你是如何听说“他并不想招”你的呢?传话的人,如果没有能力帮助你的话,为什么要传这样的话呢?这只能把问题搞得更复杂。

另外,这个利益冲突,是他人无法设想的。所以,这里的人难以谈到点子上。不妨找熟悉的朋友聊。
 
I believe a lot of people has a misconception of cannot speak up to your supervisor. As older people said, "Cow works so hard but still not appreciated as much as other animals".
Finish your assignment doesn't mean you are being appreciated, or doesn't equal your performance is satisfied. Especially in most of government positions, there are technical competencies as well as behavioral competencies. Finish your works earlier might fulfills your technical side, but if you are not a team player or you are incapable of transfer knowledge between co-workers. You are not performing well in behavioral competencies, like teamwork, client services...etc
Fail anyone one of the categories will result in BAD perform.

What you can do is:
1) Talk to your supervisor to discuss recent actions that s/he taken that you feel are inappropriate;
2) Talk to supervisor of your supervisor to resolve that issue;
3) Consultant your Employee Assistant Program in your agency;
4) Talk to any Conflict Consultant in your agency to resolve this issue;
5) Inform your union representative regarding the incident.

Do not fear of speaking up, here is not China/HK/Asian environment. Speaking up is to a good thing for yourself, and also not having anyone suffer what you've suffered.

3) “至少让他的一部分目的难以达到。" 这种心理,同上面是一样的。未必你的目的能够达到。此策不可取。

眼下,换个角度想想,如何能改变局面。这里很多人的建议是很好的。
 
CCC的建议是很好的。觉得你还是应该抛开积怨,和你现在的主管好好谈谈。同时在部门
中寻求一下有没有更高级别的人能够理解你的处境,能够帮你一把的?至于离开时

我一直试着调节和他的关系,但是它所做的只是拖延和敷衍。因为它需要时间来培养自己的人。不敢直接谈的原因是怕被更直接的告知我必须离开。并没有传话的人,只是闲聊的时候知道的。我在这里也没有很熟悉的朋友,因为是为了这份工作来的。所以只能上网求助,想看看如何最大限度的保护自己,或者在离开的时候鱼死网破一把。至少让他的一部分目的难以达到。
这种情况下试图努力工作完成任务是最愚蠢的事. 因为你做的越多,越容易犯错,被人找到理由. 能不能完成assignmen并不重要,重要的是能找到理由.他给你设置障碍,使你不能完成任务,正是你求之不得的.记录在案,保留证据.楼上提到他可以
用"lack of performance"为由赶你走,但这个理由要有具体的例子为佐证,也就是你的错误.所以不犯错误是政府工作的唯一之上准则. 至于能不能完成任务,你根本不用操心.我按你的指令做而完不成任务,怨你不怨我!如果他用表现不佳为由让
你走,却没有具体例证,他也要面对你的指控,如"种族歧视","性别歧视"...等等,任何一条都能成为敲掉他饭碗的理由.
这就是大多数经理不愿去触这个地雷的原因.你现在所要做的:
1.以静制动,尽量少做事,最好不做事,不做就不错.
2.做任何事都要他的明确指令.通过EMAIL交流,方便保留证据.
3.想办法暗示他,如果他一意孤行,他将面临的麻烦.他可能也没有这方面的经验.
4.告诉他:"去别的部门"是你和他的共同目标,所以最好在外面说说你的好话.
 
首先, 不要担心你的REFERENCE问题, 因为如果你短期内被迫离开的话, 你的这段工作经历最好就不要让日后的雇主知道。 现在还想日后让这些人做REFERENCE,那是最蠢的事。

还有,多看,少做, 你是新来的, 肯定有适应期,你的这种有人下绊子的情况下,重要的是不出错, 而不是多做。

另外,不要和你的任何新同事在言语上流露出不满, 在这个鸟地方,打小报告的鸟人比比皆是。

新人千万不要越级抱怨, 这是忌讳, 除非你的上司的上司, 想搞掉你的上司, 就是这样,到最后,你也肯定要走人。日后的REFERENCE, 那就更别提了。

如果你实在想留下, 那就是做缩头乌龟, 熬过这段时间, 如果不想憋气, 那可以直接跟你的上司谈, 但是非到万不得已, 不要有任何威胁暗示。

最后, 如果你不得不离开, 那就一定要讨个说法, 这个时候, 要利用所有的手段途径, 闹得是越大越好,哪怕是上报纸,电视新闻,目的很简单, 让这个鸟上司,也不能干干净净的呆着。

这儿谋生不易, 实际上, 加拿大这鸟地方, 明争暗斗, 比国内一点都不差。 而我们, 由于各种原因, 劣势比较明显。
 
I don't know what is your job. But If I am you I just try to find another postion. He may want someone at your position but lost in the competition. And you should let him know you are looking, need a good reference from him. Moving postion in the goverment office happens very often, try to improve your releationship is waste of time.
