If your budget is 3万左右(+-10%)

1. Pilot - 55 K
2. Venza - over 50 K

CRV, RAV 4 and Forester are all close to your budget
a) with AWD
b) SUV
c) Japanese company, especially Forester - 100 % made in Japan, but use 5 - 10 % more gas than the other two
d) VERY reliable (Transmission should not have any problem with mileage over 300 K km, American cars, have problem when over 200 K km)
e) Roomy even with three adults sitting at the back.

Forester - 2.5 L, 175 hp, CRV and RAV 2.4 L, 158 to 165 hp
Forester - Boxer engine, centrally positioned, only Porsche uses this design.
Forester - Can have 90 % of power to one wheel, it seems that CRV and RAV 4 can have 50 %, ask Subaru sales person....

After market parts - Honda and Toyota have a lot, are cheaper than Subaru.

Good luck

do u plan to have another kid

if you plan to have another kid in near future, you should think about buying a car bigger so you have enough space for the kids stuff.

but it still depends on how far you drive to work everyday. If you don't care too much on the gas, minivan may not a bad choice.

If there is a concern about safety regarding turning and braking, I wouldn't choose the car. I am not a skilled car driver. Occasionally, due to tiredness, I do forget driving preventatively and put myself at risk situations. For example, forgetting braking earlier when approaching red traffic lights in rainy days or on icy road conditions. I need a car which can provide a bit more safety against those risk situations which are unavoidable. Thank you for your input, 基础墙.

Thank you, PanasonicVCR.

1. No more kid :(: ; my family will remain size of 3.

2. In the morning, I drive my baby to her daycare everyday for 10 minutes before drive myself to work for another 15 minutes all through local traffic (not through highway); then reverse the direction in the afternoon to go back home. I may need to drive on highway sometimes during weekend if go for a trip out of town.

Safety comes first, and comfortable room size comes second, then budget of buying the car comes third, and last, easy maintenance comes fourth; gas fee is not a major concern.

Thank you, YINGWA.

It seems to me Forester is a better choice against my initial requirements. As long as there are parts available for maintenance, that's good enough.

Is this car safe for driving under icy or rainy weather condition or on highway?

Malibu is not bad too! very solid and safe
