This is a Qualcomm backed company..Its products got FDA approved and got some reimbersement from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) after a few years battle...
How many beds in the hospital can be saved by this new technology (with other vital signs)...it is revolution, well, sort of..
Private sectors can contribute a lot in the fields, as long as policy supports...

US broadband investments to benefit 900 healthcare facilities
US President, Barack Obama, announced last Friday plans for a $795 million government programme to develop broadband acces in rural areas. The investment will benefit over 900 healthcare facilities, 2400 schools, 685,000 businesses over all 50 states.
The funding, which comes from the 2009 economic stimulus act, has also been matched by over $200 million in outside investments to create a public-private investment package of over $1 billion. It is expected to create in excess of 5000 jobs and spur economic development in some of the US’ hardest hit communities which at present have little or no broadband access.
The FCC’s National Broadband Plan estimates that
telehealth projects will generate around $700 billion in savings over 15-25 years. The rollout of improved broadband infrastructure across the US will be pivotal to the success of telehealth initiatives across the country and the realisation of the predicted savings.
