Very well said. I cannot agree with you more.

But in last couple years of playoff final, the stars played much more important role than the checking line even though you still see the so-called shutdown line to score. The winning team seems to have the pattern of a tandem of super starts like Crosby and Malkin for Pittsburgh, Towes and Kane for Blackhawks. The super stars don't necessarily score by themselves, but they are certainly the reasons why the checking line shine from time to time. If the trend doesn't change this year, Vancouver should have some edge over the others since they have Sedin twins tandem. We will see!
