question on reading chinese email

我在NJstart WP 写的中文email. then copied as HZ text(simplified) to the eamil 发给国内的朋友。为什么他不能读呢？(显出的是乱码)。
那位知道为什么呀？thanks.

HZ编码很少用了的,
你是用什么OS,什么email 软件?
Win98 E版+outlook可以用微软的global IME
用yahoo可以用NJstar+netscape

winXP/win2000 不论E/中文版,都可以加挂中文输入
control panel/regional and language options 里改就行了

我用的是window2000 and outlook.
我已经写了一个email是用 Njstart wp。难道就没办法用了吗？必须在window200里重写吗？

Is there any editor can be used for writing chinese and work with win2000. It is not convenient to do the changes in the control panel/regional options because it only take effect after log off and log back into the window's system. If I change the options to chinese. Does it has any impact on writing English. Thanks.

乱码是因为一些EMAIL软件，包括YAHOO的WEB MAIL系统，都不能正确处理汉字
内码。可能是因为汉字内码被当做UNICODE处理了。

我是用这个方法解决的。

把信写好后存一个文件，可以是TXT，DOC，。。。
然后把文件作为附件发出去。

当用TXT文件是，很多EMAIL软件，以及WEB MAIL系统都可以直接显示文件内容，
接收人不必把文件存盘后再打开。
