As a white female who has a strong interest for Chinese culture and only interested in dating/marrying Asian men, preferably Chinese, I want to know the opinions of Chinese men on dating white people. I find it very difficult to show I am interested in Chinese men because they never seem to want to talk with me assuming I am not interested in them. I see Chinese women with white men and I think interracial dating is a beautiful thing !

A lot of CBC(Canadian-born-chinese) have a strong interest in dating white ladies. If you are so interested in Chinese men, I would suggest you to learn more Chinese culture first. The more you know about it, the higher the chance chinese men will be attracted by you. Why don't you post some pictures here, this would also greatly increase your chance.

to be honest, I do not really like CBC, to me they are just like the white guys, I really like someone who speaks fluent and perfect chinese without an accent and acts like a man would in China, not like the western ways. not that I am trying to necessarily find someone through this site but just to get an idea of how chinese feel about dating a white girl. as for making myself familiar with chinese culture, I am fairly familiar with it as I spend a lot of time with chinese friends at my university haha but thank you for your advice, i really appreciate it .

It might be difficult if you want to find non-cbc, "authentic" chinese men as they usually prefer ladies who have the same cultural background for serious relationship. But as usual, there are always exceptions. So don't give up

For myself, I will definitely find an authentic chinese

haha ok fair enough, so when you say that, is it based on appreance that you want a chinese or based on the fact you can speak the same language and relate the same culture...just out of curiosity so I can better understand chinese men haha

When I say "authentic" chinese, I mean both outside and inside must be chinese. But I don't mind(actually prefer) if she also has good influence from the West

我不确定楼主是不是真的那么热爱中国文化。如果是，建议先交一些普通的中国人朋友如果有合适的，再发展成恋人。

If you wrote the post yourself, including that "CHINESE" paragraph, then I am really amazed by your Chinese language! Much better than a lot of CBC. And what you like is NOT the look, but CHINESE culture.

The best, I think, is if you can find a job in China, you have better chance there finding the right person. Or if you work in Toronto, there are also a lot of Chinese (more than half a million ethnic Chinese).

I saw a lot of treads in this forum are people who are looking for one night stand. And they are written in Chinese, you might not able to read those tread.

So you better be careful if you are looking for relationship from this forum.

To be honest, I wish I could say I wrote the paragraph in Chinese but I used a translator out of respect since it is a Chinese website haha but I am taking a university course currently in Chinese.

And about the "look", I do love the look, I don't find "white" men attractive so yes I am physicaly attracted to Chinese but also the culture they bring is also just as much important which is why I like fob.

Once I am done school I am considering going to China.

I did not know that and thanks for the heads up! The goal of my thread wasn't so much to find a relationship through here, I do like to meet the person, or like someone posted above, be friends first, but I do like to know how Chinese think because this is not a question I would normally ask in person.
