Most of Asian guys are not self confident in many ways. Oh yeah. "That's what she says". LOL.

As you probably aware that most of Chinese are family oriented, so here is the problem. Most of parents are not open minded and even not willing to see their son or daughter get married to a guy/girl from other cities. A brief example would be Vancouver city girl marries to a Nova Scotia fishman. Her family probably would yell at her "Are you out of your mind?". Most of guys bail.

On the other hand, that traditional Asian families have this strong male domination mind set which breaks many families apart these days. That's something that sometime western world couldn't understand.

And yes, we are interested in white females. Love is not easy, well, live is not easy as well.

When I see asian guys with other asians they seem so confident !! but I like asians because they don't have that arrogant vibe from them, something I feel from white guys way too often.

I get the point about the parents not approving but then I see many many chinese girls with a white guy...and their relationships work perfect. But nonetheless I get what you are saying and each case is individual and different.

And I have seen the male dominance that you are talking about, I can't speak for other westerners but I am perfectly ok with it.

No doubt dating a foreigner is more difficult for both sides, but I think it can be totally worth it if the love between the people exists, right : )

How important do u think deep communication or sharing of feelings/thoughts related to culture. nation, values. viewpoint in married couple?
Do u think white/chinese couples would have great diificulties on this?

To be honest, I think there are good people from both white and Chinese groups. The different culture is not big deal if they can feel love. But most Chinese guys need longer time to warm up. So as I said before, meet more Chinese people, play with them and make friends with them (doesn't matter girls or boys). By this way you will have more opportunities to learn our culture, then you will have more ideas on what type of Chinese guy is good for you.
